A Welcome Message from Dr. Harold Brem

haroldbremmdcroppedOver the past 15 years, I’ve been working in an organized fashion to heal what have traditionally been considered “non-healing” wounds. At Winthrop-University Hospital's Wound Healing Center, we base every clinical decision on the microbiology of wound tissue samples taken from individual patients. Our multidisciplinary team then uses this information to develop a multifaceted treatment plan, employing regenerative medicine therapies to stimulate the growth of new, healthy tissue. We also have a well-developed clinical wound research program, where we continually investigate new approaches to wound healing. I invite you to explore this website and learn how even the most difficult wounds can be healed through our state-of-the-art wound care.
